Concrete driveway contractors in DeBary answer to two desks
One new driveway in town means two permits. The city contracts PDCS, LLC for building code administration, plan review and inspections, and permits run through the Citizenserve online portal. That's the building side. The street side is a different animal. Land Development Code Sec. 3.35(b) requires a use permit before anyone puts a facility on city property, and it counts a driveway connection to a city road as a facility. You file that permit with Growth Management, and the City Engineer reviews it.
The city Building page lists the application fee at $50 for residential, and the fee schedule drops "Driveway (residential)" into a flat $75 group. A residential slab, structural or non-structural, is the same flat $75. We make sure both desks sign off before the crew shows up, because a driveway with a building permit and no use permit is only half done. Your estimate lists each permit line on its own, so you can see what's ours and what's the city's.
