Concrete patio contractors in Edgewater start with the Patio/Slab Permit
Edgewater gives the Patio/Slab Permit its own form, listed on the Building and Permitting page. You fill in the slab size and the job cost, then attach a survey showing the slab, the drainage and the setbacks. The form says to keep new fill out of drainage easements, and it warns that a tree in the fill area may need its own removal permit. You email the application. Fees and inspections go through the city's WebPermits portal.
The fee math fits on a napkin. One and two family homes pay a $100 application fee, plus a $75 base fee and 0.0065 of the job valuation. Take a $5,000 patio: that's $107.50 on top of the application fee. Pour before you have the permit and the city charges 200 percent of the permit fee. When your job needs a permit, we pull it, mark up your survey and book the inspections.
